The Series Pouch Inspector system operates in much the same manner as the DSC. The patented system is designed with a dual pair of parallel belts for betterhandling and testing of pouches. The parallel belts apply force to the sidewall ofthe pouch increasing the internal pressureof the pouch. A comparative measurementis taken between the infeed and thedischarge of the system. The comparative measurement eliminates typical variationsseen in the productionenvironment (Fill Level, Product, Temperature, and Seal width).
